She began her radio career at Riyadh Radio, where she hosted a variety of programmes and news bulletins. After a few years, she moved on to work for Saudi TV’s Channel One, becoming the first Saudi woman to appear on television.
She specialised in presenting programmes for women and children, but her programmes expanded to cover social, philanthropic, and women’s issues.
