The Saudi Tourism Authority and Taiba Investments, the industry leader in hospitality and real estate development, have inked a memorandum of cooperation.

It seeks to draw the greatest number of Chinese visitors and tourists, improve their experience while in the Kingdom, and solidify Saudi Arabia’s position as a top travel destination for the Chinese market.

The memorandum of understanding outlines the construction and furnishing of a residential system and the creation of a network of lodging facilities catering specifically to the needs and preferences of Chinese tourists.

This entails satisfying the needs of the Chinese market and offering a range of facilities, services, and marketing materials tailored to it.

Moreover, establishing sales and marketing teams committed to carrying out joint marketing efforts to progress the Saudi market is necessary along with heightened attempts to draw in Chinese tourists.

The Saudi Tourism Authority will assist Taiba Investment Company with administrative, technical, and advising help in establishing specialised sales and marketing teams in Riyadh and Shanghai.

With this agreement, tailored marketing strategies will be set up to accentuate the rich cultural legacy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its varied tourism offerings in the Chinese market.

Along with that, the two will work together to organise a conference in Riyadh in 2024 to draw in more Chinese travellers and give Saudi travel agencies a forum to interact with influential figures in the Chinese travel sector.

In this context, Hassan Al-Ahdab, CEO of Hotel Operations at Taiba Investment Company, emphasised the significance of this collaboration and its ambitious objectives in advancing travel to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia within the world’s largest travel market—China.

The tourism industry as a whole will benefit greatly from this endeavour, and the number of visitors to the Kingdom will rise.

This is in line with reaching one of Saudi Vision 2030s primary objectives, which is to boost the travel and tourism industry and bring in 100 million visitors by 2030.

He highlighted that “Taiba Investment” is ready to provide the required financial contributions to work with the “Saudi Tourism Authority” to accomplish these objectives.

Millions of Chinese tourists will come to visit us to enjoy the greatest travel experiences available in the Kingdom.”

To be completely prepared to welcome Chinese guests, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has started several programmes.

He went on, “We are bolstering our preparedness to stay on this path with this new partnership with Taiba Investment. In line with our goal of making the Kingdom a top travel destination worldwide. This also marks a significant step towards including the private sector.”
