Boulevard Runway: A brand-new area included in the fifth season’s edition of Riyadh to combine entertainment with unusual encounters.
As the city has prepared and begun to welcome visitors with unique events, we are embarking on fresh and thrilling trips to Riyadh Season 2024.
Experience Aviation Like Never Before
Boulevard Runway is a fresh and intriguing addition to the 2024 season, the result of an innovative partnership between Saudi Airlines and Riyadh Season. It opened yesterday, October 28, 2024, to give visitors a chance to experience aviation uniquely.
With three Boeing 777 aircraft and a real runway, visitors can experience the atmosphere of travel as though they were on a real flight—all without requiring a passport!
The new Riyadh Season area in Al-Hafna offers exciting activities for tourists, including a runway for stationary aircraft and a variety of eateries and cafés, allowing them to explore Riyadh’s stunning attractions without a plane.
For those who want to heighten the tension and adrenaline of their Boulevard Runway experience, the disappearance of Flight 1661 is a fascinating choice. A sense of both dread and exhilaration permeates the story of how the Boeing 777 transporting the passengers on this plane disappeared.
The plane’s passengers transform into zombies and explore the Bermuda Triangle accident scene, accompanied by live music, spooky effects, and wheelchairs for increased excitement, enhancing the adventure’s immersive nature.
The Sky Siege experience offers a thrilling challenge for individuals with a heart of steel: saving a 777 that has been taken over by a gang of hijackers. In addition to being a vehicle, the plane is loaded with gold, which has led the Nightmare Syndicate gang to want to take it.
Given this scenario, the mission necessitates the creation of a group of heroes who will work together to come up with a well-thought-out strategy to get inside the plane and liberate it from the hijackers before it is too late. This requires extraordinary bravery, intelligence, and coordination.

Another thrilling event is the Fun Zone at Boulevard Runway, which offers 10 thrilling airborne journeys and cutting-edge experiences for guests, making it perfect for families and friends to enjoy a good time in a great environment.
As the saying goes, “Food is half the journey.” To round up your Boulevard Runway experience, there are culinary adventures that transport you to another planet, as airline meals provide a wide range of delectable sensations. Even though many people may not appreciate aeroplane cuisine, this section lets you sample delectable foods from several participating eateries.
Enjoy real Middle Eastern food at Uncle Hussein’s or try the eatery 10/10 Burger, which offers a unique experience by allowing you to eat the well-known Mike Majlak Burger from the air traffic control tower.
It is noteworthy that in September, in a joyous celebratory mood, the capital, Riyadh, welcomed three Boeing 777 aeroplanes that had arrived on Riyadh Boulevard from Jeddah. The reception ceremonies saw an unparalleled level of citizen engagement.
The aircraft’s delayed arrival at its destination was due to the warm hospitality of regions and governorates. Multiple government agencies worked together to complete the mission, closely monitoring its movement. After a 400-hour journey, the aircraft arrived after a three-day delay on September 9.
The Legacy of the Boeing 777
Before arriving in Riyadh, the Boeing 777 went over more than 50 centres and governorates, marking their trip through places not used to receiving aeroplanes, airport-equipped cities such as Jeddah, Riyadh, Taif, and Dawadmi.
Originally launched in 1998 and withdrawn in 2016, the Boeing B777-200 aircraft stayed in service for more than eighteen years. The third model became available in 1999 and retired in 2017. Many airlines worldwide continue to use these aircraft, including United, an American airline which continues to fly the second, nearly thirty-year-old model.
