Mohamad Al-Munajem’s Journey from Business to Al-Shabab Club President

Mohamad Al-Munajem aspired to lead the Saudi Al-Shabab Club, aiming to be an enthusiastic leader and leave a lasting legacy.

A young Saudi man in his prime, Mohamad Al-Munajem was driven by his desire to be the head of the Saudi Al-Shabab Club. He sought to be an enthusiastic leader in his profession and to help create a legacy that future generations would remember.

The 29-year-old Mohamad Al-Munajem received a fellowship in business and economics from City University London’s Department of Accounting after studying entrepreneurship and economics at the London Business School.

He became a member of the Al-Shabab Club’s board of directors and later became the club’s president in 2023 because of his passion for sports, which drove him to be active in the sports circles that brought him notoriety. Mohamad Al-Munajem is a wealthy Saudi family member with roots in the Bani Al-Munajem tribe, part of the Arab and Saudi heritage. Their ancestry dates back to the time of Mihr Gushnasp, the son of Yazdegerd III, the last Sassanid king, and their ties to an ancient historical lineage reflect various influences in politics and culture over time.

One of the most significant businesspeople in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is Mohamad Al-Munajem, who founded the Dalani Company in early 2016 and has been CEO of Azom Company since 2018. He served in several important capacities before taking on the role of president of the Al-Shabab Club, including chairman of the Azom Company’s board of directors and a member of the club’s executive committee. Additionally, he served as Nadhara and Health Company’s technical director.

Stepping Out of the Comfort Zone

Mohamad Al-Munajem distinguished between sustainability and attraction, stating that the former aims to bring in top players and bring the club through a qualitative transition from one stage to the next.
