Carna, the contemporary steakhouse by legendary butcher Dario Cecchini located on the 74th floor of SLS Dubai, invites guests to experience the exciting new Toscan Drunch, launching this Saturday, April 29th. Promising an exquisite affair and bespoke Italian hospitality, Carna is set to bring back homely nostalgia with a picnic-inspired drunch surrounded by friends and family.
The evening will be filled with eclectic live music, dancers, and non-stop beats courtesy of the resident DJ. Guests can enjoy the feel-good vibe with an array of hearty Italian delights and a wide selection of perfectly concocted drinks as they wine and dine Tuscan style throughout the evening.
Set against the rich and warm interiors of Carna, the drunch begins with Dario’s Box, a curated selection of starters and Italian favourites, mostly hailing from the quaint region of Tuscany. The selection includes Homemade Italian Bread Basket, Fresh and Smoked Mozzarellas, Manzo Board with coppa, salami, bresaola, and pancetta, and the Tuscan favourite, Pappa Al Pomodoro, a bread soup made from fresh tomatoes with garlic, basil, and oregano. The Florentine-inspired starters also include a classic Italian Sandwich and Grilled Panzanella Salad.
Offering the ultimate Carna experience with prime cuts and unrivalled quality, the main course will deliver the signature flavours of Chef Dario. On the menu is a satisfying selection of dishes including the likes of Parmigiana with baked local eggplant, confit garlic, parmigiano, and basil, Grilled Pincaha with olive oil and herbs, Grilled Fish drizzled with lemon, and freshly made Roasted Baby Potatoes with olive oil, garlic, and rosemary, making this drunch a rich epicurean delight. Ending the culinary experience on a sweet note is a selection of desserts, including Milk and Honey with Italian milk custard and honey marshmallow, and favourites such as Strawberry Crostata with shortcrust pastry, strawberries, and vanilla chantilly.
The highlight of the evening, guests can pair their culinary experience with a wide selection of free-flowing cocktails masterfully concocted by the in-house mixologist, from the beloved Espresso Martini and classics such as the Old Fashioned and Negroni to Carna’s signature Sangria, a mixture a mixture of blended wines infused with delicious fruits & spices. Guests can also choose from an extensive list of grapes, bubbles, and hops to accompany them throughout the night.
