Celebrate India’s 76th Independence Day at Rang Mahal on August 15th

Experience the taste of India and enjoy the true spirit of the nation while dining in the relaxed ambience of Rang Mahal. The upscale, award-winning Indian restaurant at JW Marriott Marquis Dubai is introducing an exclusive offering on August 15th to commemorate the 76th Independence Day of India.

Keeping traditions and flavours alive, Rang Mahal’s expert culinary team have prepared a specially curated five-course set menu to mark the special occasion. Each course is dedicated to a timeless hero of Indian history having contributed positively to the community. The set menu is available in both vegetarian and non-vegetarian formats, for only AED 225 per person or AED 395 with selected beverages included.

The rich tapestry of Indian cuisine begins with a Denatured Duo of Olive with Truffle Naan as the first course, inspired by Olympic medalist, Mr. Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore. This will be followed by Vegetable Cornetto and Crispy Prawn (or Padron Chilli) “Vada” as the second course, dedicated to the famous cricketer Kapil Dev. The third dish pays homage to the field hockey player, Major Dhyan Chand, being Pulled Lamb Gallette (or Almond Vegetable Gallette) with a Trio of Chutneys.

Continuing the journey onto a main course and celebrating the track and field athlete, Pilavullakandi Thekkeraparambil Usha, is Shredded Chicken (or Wild Assorted Mushroom) with Rice Hoppers. The last dish of the meal, Steamed Yoghurt Crémeux and Berry Compote, is inspired by long-distance swimmer, Arati Saha, and will make sure to leave you on a sweet note.
