Qatar Airways began direct flights to Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, on Sundays and Thursdays, with two flights per week on an Airbus A320 aircraft.
Tabuk is now Qatar Airways’ tenth destination in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, following AlUla, Dammam, Qassim, Jeddah, Medina, Riyadh, Taif, Yanbu, and NEOM.
The introduction of these flights demonstrates Qatar Airways’ commitment to enhancing economic and social ties between Qatar and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The chief executive of Qatar Airways Group, Badr Mohammed Al Meer, stated: “Qatar Airways is proud to announce the launch of our flights to Tabuk, the tenth destination in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This follows the recent addition of flights to AlUla and Neom, as well as the restart of service to Yanbu.
This step reinforces our commitment to providing the best travel options for travellers from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Tabuk also offers many historical, cultural, and natural experiences to visitors, so we are excited to have it join our expanding global network of destinations.”
“We are happy today to crown all these bilateral successes by launching Qatar Airways flights to Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Tabuk and to several other destinations,” stated Ali Muhammad Mashari, CEO of the Second Airports Group Company. This move adds value to the area by giving travellers more options through the airport to promote tourism among tourists and locals alike. This is especially true given that the announcement was made shortly after Prince Sultan Airport began to receive multiple new flights, opening up a variety of travel options to numerous new and upcoming destinations.
