Dubai ranks in second place as the world’s top city destination for 2023 in a yearly report published by Euromonitor.
The list places cities across the globe in order of popularity, sustainability, economic expansion, and safety. In essence, successful cities are well-liked and strategically improve everyone’s quality of life.
Utilising 55 metrics, such as tourism infrastructure, economic and commercial performance, and health and safety standards, the Euromonitor Index assesses the world’s most popular travel destinations.
Only Paris surpassed Dubai, while Madrid, Tokyo, and Amsterdam comprised the rest of the top five cities.
Dubai ranks as the second-best world city, the only city in the Middle East to make it into the top 20, further proudly representing the region.

Dubai has received numerous prestigious awards this year alone.
