The Hajj Encyclopaedia and the Two Holy Mosques 2024 will take place in Mecca, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, between December 24 and December 28. In Jumada al-Akhir 1446 AH, this date falls between the twenty-second and the twenty-sixth.

The purpose of the Hajj Encyclopaedia and the Two Holy Mosques 2024 is to track and record the history of the Hajj from pre-Islamic times to the present, under the rule of King Salman bin Abdulaziz, may God protect him, as the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, in a single encyclopaedic source. It also aims to highlight the Kingdom's growth and outstanding contributions to the Hajj and pilgrims. With all of its themes covered, the encyclopaedia is now undergoing scientific assessment and will likely be published both electronically and in 35 printed volumes. The event's goal is to provide a scientific reference that covers all aspects of the Hajj and the Two Holy Mosques in both space and time.

Keeping track of everything associated with Hajj and the Two Holy Mosques in a single encyclopaedic container and precisely and truly documenting their proportions while taking into account their historical and modern dimensions are the encyclopedia's primary goals.
