The fourth Riyadh International Marathon, 2025, has been announced, and February 8th is the date. The most prestigious athletic event in the Saudi capital will return with a brand-new edition!

The 2025 Riyadh Marathon, organised by the Saudi Sports for All Federation (SFA), the Ministry of Sports, the Quality of Life Program, and the Saudi Arabian Athletics Federation, will return to the Saudi capital for its fourth edition. The Saudi Sports Federation announced on their Instagram account. The Riyadh Marathon 2025 is a diverse event that caters to different age groups, genders, and abilities, offering various races tailored to their abilities and athletic qualifications. To maintain fair competition, the event's tracks frequently fall into age-based categories. The 2025 routes have not yet been made public. The routes from last year's marathon varied as follows:

• 42 km for those over 20
• 21 km (half-marathon) for those over 18
• 10 km for those over 17
• 4 km for beginners

Last year's marathon attracted over 20,000 participants from various nationalities, ages, and social classes. The event included the Marathon Village, a unique destination for entertainment and family fun, and several restaurants offering delicious food for attendees and participants. The race routes included special stops for participants to rest and recharge every 2.5 km. With entertaining cuisine, music, exercise activities, and more, participants and guests may fully immerse themselves in the carnival-like environment here.
