The business sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is undergoing a significant transformation, bolstering the nation’s position as a major commercial hub in the Middle East, thanks to the efforts of both male and female entrepreneurs.
Ahmed Al-Badr, a notable Saudi businessman, has significantly influenced the medical industry in the Kingdom. He has been the co-founder and CEO of the “Sihatak” platform since 2015, and his contributions have made him a prominent figure in the industry.
“Sihatak” is a Cutting-Edge Platform
According to Saudi media, the “Sihatak” platform outperformed over 30 businesses to take the top spot on the list of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s top startups in 2017.
Ahmed Al-Badr underlined that “Sihatak” sets itself apart by facilitating communication between patients and their insurance provider, enabling them to determine if the healthcare provider of their choice is covered. Through the app and ongoing communication with the physician, it also keeps track of the course of treatment, including patient exams, medication reminders, and doctor visits. Healthcare professionals and patients can also assess one another.
According to Al-Badr, “Sihatak” mainly caters to healthcare facilities and hospitals, providing services like cloud-based hospital systems and revenue cycle management (RCM). Analysis of trends in this industry, like online insurance eligibility services, can also be done with big data. The “Sihatak” team concentrates on small clinics to reach as many patients as possible, especially when it comes to routine issues. To establish operations, the team targets particular hospitals and then launches advertising campaigns to promote them. This is the basis of their marketing strategy.
