Event Details

The Saudi Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources is organising the 4th International Future Mineral Forum (FMF), 2025, which will take place in Riyadh from January 14–16, 2025, with the theme “Achieving Impact.”

King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, is the royal sponsor of the Future Mineral Forum (FMF), which takes place in the King Abdulaziz International Conference Centre. To follow up on the most recent developments in the global mining and mineral industries sector, the Future Mineral Forum (FMF), 2025 includes a ministerial meeting in which 40 international organisations and 100 nations participate. Notably, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has expressed direct support and interest in the forum. The (FMF) brings together governments, industry companies, and institutions, and a collection of research and educational institutions. The Future Mineral Forum (FMF), 2025 aims to foster international cooperation to explore opportunities and effectively invest in this crucial sector. It also addresses challenges and determines the best solutions, emphasising the benefits for workers and participants, both locally and globally. Moreover, participants will discuss the mining industry's sustainability efforts, including expanding clean energy resources to combat climate change and how new mining areas attract investors, in line with global trends. It is important to note that the Future Mineral Forum (FMF), last year, attracted an impressive number of attendees—more than 14,000—the majority of whom are important figures in the industry, such as investment executives, business owners, or subject-matter specialists. They are spread throughout 133 countries. In the 2024 edition, there will be more than 100 sponsors and exhibitors and 250 speakers during the forum events, including 70 dialogue sessions. The assessment of the Kingdom's unexplored mineral wealth at 9.3 trillion riyals was one of the most notable results from the previous year's edition. Additionally, there were 75 agreements and memoranda of understanding, totalling 75 billion Saudi riyals. Read more: Hajj Conference & Exhibition 2025
