The eighth edition of the Women's Economic Forum 2024, titled “Empowering Effective Leadership,” will be held on November 19–20 by the Eastern Chamber under the patronage of Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, the Emir of the Eastern Province.

The Women Economic Forum 2024 aims to boost investment in small projects, overcome financing challenges, and boost business initiatives for Saudi women. It identifies key entities supporting the Eastern Province's small enterprises sector and outlines financing mechanisms for successful ideas and projects. Moreover, the forum discusses women's performance in line with Vision 2030, highlighting opportunities for effective leadership, identifying development aspects in the Kingdom and region, encouraging individual initiatives to start economically viable businesses, and understanding the role of legislation in promoting small business growth and expansion. The Women's Economic Forum discusses Saudi Arabia's renaissance, women's future, business community development, and Asharqia Chamber's strategic plan, emphasizing creative services for women in the current economic phase. Additionally, the forum provides valuable insights into the experiences of businesswomen in entrepreneurship and freelancing, offering support and guidance to enhance women's status in the workplace and business management. It also encourages them to identify advancement and modernization mechanisms in production and creativity across various economic sectors. The Asharqia Chamber's Women's Empowerment Centre is instrumental in addressing challenges faced by businesswomen in economic pursuits, aiming to establish and coordinate economic forums that promote Saudi women's advancement and economic growth. Today, Saudi women are able to take advantage of opportunities in industries that suit their nature, such as entertainment, which is seeing a significant increase in women's investments, exhibition organisation, and many other industries, thanks to the growing efforts to empower them in the labour market, as well as the availability of investment and employment opportunities and their effective contribution to the economy.
