It also discusses policies and strategies to enhance performance in international labour markets. Moreover, the Global Labour Market Conference (GLMC) aims to unite all stakeholders in labour markets, including government policymakers, private sector representatives, international organisations, academics, and entrepreneurs, to develop and improve labour markets' prosperity. Plus, the (GLMC) conference promotes global discussions on labour market trends, market conditions, opportunities, and future projects using analysis, research, and thought leadership tools. Notably, the first artificial intelligence-powered chatbot, Rayan, had its debut during the conference. It uses a language model with 10 billion standard elements. It was first created to identify trends in the labour market and trained on one trillion data points collected globally. Besides, Ryan offers comprehensive data on international labour markets to individuals, companies, and policymakers worldwide, providing valuable insights and support. The General Authority for Literature, Publishing, and Translation is launching the “Tarjim Initiative” from January 1 to February 1, 2025.

Tarjim 2025 Initiative is to enhance the translation sector in Saudi Arabia, enrich Arabic content with high-value translated materials, and strengthen cultural and knowledge exchange between the Kingdom and the world. Moreover, the initiative involves translation experts to discuss modern developments, technologies, and trends in the industry. It emphasises the profession's role in connecting cultures and civilisations and its role in achieving social, cultural, and linguistic communication between different races and societies. In addition, the Authority has set conditions for book translation grants, requiring the book to be useful, enriching cultural content, licensed in Saudi Arabia, and possessing intellectual rights. The Authority may exempt some requests from these conditions as needed. Besides, the content to be translated must be in the original language, published within the last five years, and in the humanities and cultural sciences. The academic periodical should not be longer than 300 pages with a word count of 300 every page, and articles should not be longer than 60 pages with a word count of 300 each. The Literature, Publishing, and Translation Authority started the Tarjam Initiative in 2020, coinciding with International Translation Day (September 30).
